Introduction to Mandarin Training Center
The MTC is a subsidiary of National Taiwan Normal University and was founded in the autumn of 1956 for teaching Chinese as a second language. Currently, the MTC is the largest and the most renowned Chinese language center, with around 1,700 students from more than 80 countries enrolled each academic quarter (three months.)
MTC students come from different cultures and language backgrounds. They share the common goal of learning to communicate in Chinese effectively--some for employment; some for interests in Chinese culture and history. Many students have never learned Chinese before they enroll at the MTC, whereas some are good enough to start at intermediate and advanced levels. No matter what your motivation for learning Chinese is or the level of your Chinese, the MTC will do all it can to help you make rapid progress.

2022創意書法

本中心迎接2022虎年到來，邀請台灣書法名家杜忠誥老師門生─林子琪老師，舉辦兩場創意書法課。林老師除了向學員說明不同的運筆方法，也和學員一起一筆一畫地完成各式各樣的祝賀春聯。另一方面，老師鼓勵學員發揮巧思，以虎年為題，將年年有魚（諧音：年年有餘）等吉祥話融入作品中，學員完成後就能把自己獨一無二的虎年斗方帶回家。 林老師別出心裁的教學方式，打破傳統枯燥乏味地重複書寫練習，不僅吸引眾人目光，也讓華語初學者對中華書法之美有一次的嶄新的體驗。

I teach Chinese language in a creative and funny way. Know yourself as well as your opponents or partners. Learning a completely different language is funnier and more thought-provoking. Learning Chinese can help you get firsthand and comprehensive information and analysis about China. Chinese characters still retain their pictographic origins. Knowing what the characters look like originally can help understand the meanings and remember them vividly. I’ve spent about 100,000 hours studying English humor and Western culture, and many years studying Chinese culture and jokes. My native language is Chinese.
i learned phonetic system in grade snd high school, so video showing pinyin equivalent of phonetic system helps me
